RQ to Introduce Designated Racing Regions

Racing Queensland has now implemented designated race regions across the state in a bid to further quarantine the industry from the current COVID-19 pandemic.

The thoroughbred regions are:

1. Metropolitan
2. South East Regional
3. Central Coast
4. North Coast
5. Greater Western

The Bundaberg Race Club is one of the host clubs for the South East Regional, and will now hold TAB meetings twice a month on Tuesdays. These meetings are patron-free, meaning owners and the general public are unable to attend. The meetings will be broadcast on SKY.
